I have used these for potty training for years. You hang them on the preferred door that you will be using to take your puppy outside to potty, the first couple weeks you will ring the bells before opening the door and say your “potty word” (outside, potty, etc), then take your pup outside to potty then reward with a treat. The end goal is for your pup to learn to ring the bell on their own to let you know they need to go out.
